We are committed to applying our wide range of prosthetic expertise for the benefit of our patients and the medical community. Our efforts are directed at fitting amputee patients with the prosthetic devices that best suit their lifestyles and goals. Because individual needs regarding function, durability, and comfort are unique, our staff fit and fabricate a wide variety of both upper and lower limb devices. For example, we offer a full spectrum of potential prosthetic options, varying from the most basic devices to sophisticated solutions like myo-electric arms and computerized knee units. We utilize ultra light materials in fabricating prostheses, which are lighter and more durable than ever before.
We provide our patients and referrals with the best care. This standard is maintained by the participation of our practitioners in training and continuing education classes, as well as monthly meetings led by senior practioners. Our practioners have an average of 15 years of experience in orthotics and prosthetics and are certified in their discipline. This experience includes the use of traditional and new methods of care.
DEVICES FOR ATHLETIC USAGE
Our practioners are experienced in treating amputee athletes. Working in partnership with the physician, the therapist, and the patient, we can fit the committed athlete with a performance-intensive customized prosthetic solution, which allows him or her to participate at competition levels. For instance, our staff uses energy storing feet, which mimic the natural foot, and hydraulic knee-shin components to create a highly efficient device for the committed athlete.
CONTINUING PROSTHETIC CARE
We recognize that prosthetic care is an ongoing relationship between a practitioner and a patient. It is our goal to offer our patients the highest quality product and service. Our practitioners recommend regular follow-up care to ensure their patients are receiving the finest care as they live their changed but productive and fulfilling lives.
