For over 25 years Lawall Inc. has been specializing in custom fabricating and fitting orthotic devices. We understand many of our patients may have experienced a traumatic event and are sympathetic to their experience. Our goal is to assist our patients along their road to recovery. Every patient is unique therefore, the orthosis is always based on the doctor's prescription, and the patient's goals and lifestyle demands. Regardless of whether the orthosis is used temporarily or indefinitely we continually strive to provide our patients with the most functional, comfortable and cosmetically appealing device.
Our practioners are well-versed in the wide range of lower limb, upper limb, and spinal orthosis available. They are ABC certified, which is the highest accreditation awarded within the fields of orthotics and prosthetics. Many of our practioners have been in the field for over 15 years. This experience includes the use of traditional and new methods of care. In order to provide each patient with the most appropriate care our practitioners participate in training and continuing education classes, as well as monthly meetings led by senior practioners.
We strongly believe that continuing orthotic care leads to the best results for our patients. We recommend our patients schedule follow-up appointments, which enable our practioners to reassess the fit of the orthosis. For example, if a patient undergoes anatomical change the orthosis should be modified to ensure the patient is receiving optimal support from the orthosis. Furthermore, if the patient is progressing in therapy the orthosis may need to be adjusted to allow more freedom of motion. Moreover, follow up care is essential in managing a diabetic foot. Therefore, at Lawall's we require our patients to partake in our diabetic foot management program, in which patients progress from weekly to monthly follow-ups.
