In Memory of Our Founders
For 35 years, Lawall Orthotics and Prosthetics has focused on the principles of quality, service and hard work. With a strong dedication and commitment to improving the lives of patients, amputees, and individuals with mobility and functionality challenges, the Lawalls have grown from 5 employees and 1 patient care center in 1977 to over 200 employees with 14 patient care centers serving thousands of patients in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey.
Founders Harry J. Lawall, Sr. and Harry J. Lawall, Jr. began their practice by focusing on the principles of quality, service and hard work. They consistently strived to develop unique and comprehensive solutions for fitting a wide range of patients, enabling them to live full, vibrant lives and to overcome the lifelong challenges of living with a prosthesis or orthotic. They believed in delivering the most comfortable, functional and cost-effective solution for each paitent…a solution that restored greater mobility, self-confidence and independence for each individual.
Harry Sr. was driven to make new breakthroughs in prosthetic and orthotic solutions for each patient that came through his door and believed in educating other doctors and practitioners to follow his lead. In turn, Harry Jr. maintained a special focus working with children and pediatric patients, analyzing and designing solutions that were tailored to suit each child’s individual growth pattern and bear the extra stress of their high activity levels.
Both Harry Sr. and Harry Jr. touched the lives of thousands of patients, improving their daily lives and enabling us to continue to build upon their legacy. We remember them fondly.
